Resilient planting for your needs, nature and well-being

Tailored selection of trees,
shrubs and hedges

Shade and privacy are essential elements of any garden. I can carefully select trees, shrubs and hedges to provide the perfect balance, ensuring both privacy and tranquillity.

Plant combinations for
communal or private spaces

I can curate plant combinations that thrive in your soil and conditions, ensuring your garden stays attractive year-round. I can incorporate evergreen plants for winter interest, introduce different textures, improve ground cover, and create natural screening.

Enhanced well-being
and biodiversity

My designs can focus on increasing biodiversity, attracting wildlife, and promoting pollinators, improving your overall well-being. This can also be achieved through creating potager (kitchen gardens) and/or herb gardens.

About Me

My route into garden design occurred naturally over time, but design has always been the common thread throughout my career. With a Certificate in Plants and Planting for Garden Design (Level 3) and over 30 years’ experience previously teaching product design, I bring a combination of horticultural knowledge and design sensibility to every garden.

Having lived in South London for more than three decades, I have come to understand the city’s microclimate in real depth, how it shapes what thrives and what struggles, and I plan with future proof planting in mind.

My work is guided by a simple principle: minimal intervention for maximum enjoyment. Rather than impose upon a space, I take time to understand it, reawakening its character and enhancing it thoughtfully for those who will use it. At the heart of this is a genuine passion for growing, and for the wellbeing a well-considered garden brings. I also believe good design should be accessible.

Whatever the budget, whether through a few careful adjustments or a more substantial transformation, I take pride in helping clients achieve a garden that feels both considered and complete.
